Is this the year? Are we a few days or months from the end of the world as we know it? Every sign points to yes. From the signs in the heavens, to the political stage, to the looming start of WW3, to the inminent pole shift, to the awakening of the volcanoes and earthquakes, to the new technology, to the USA government warning its citizens to prepare for food shortages and famine, to the unstoppable soon collapse of the US government – it’s all gathering perfectly together. I laugh when I see all the posts declaring 2023 to be the year everything miraculously returns to normal – or at least gets better. Are those people blind? That is definitely not going to happen. We’ve reached the tipping point, and from here on out, it’s a downward slide.
Even my atheist friends know things are different now. They continually comment in shock on how people have changed, and the way they describe those people is straight out of the bible: “But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.” (2 Timothy 3:1-5)

There is about to come a cataclysmic event on earth, more incredible than anything you’ve ever seen in a movie. The genuine Christians will be taken away to safety and everyone else who has refused to believe the evidence and proof of God that surrounds them, will finally see God face to face. They will be so terrified that every single one of them will beg the rocks to fall on them and hide them from his face. Very, very few people will survive the seven years that will follow. Constant earthquakes and asteroid hits and war and disease and famine and water shortages and persecution like it’s impossible to imagine. Two-thirds of the Jews world-wide will be murdered in a second (and more horrific) holocaust.
I honestly expected all this to have begun before now…but while I’ve been waiting for it, I’ve seen more and more things the bible spoke of coming to pass and falling perfectly into place. It was obvious to me three years ago. It’s even more blatantly obvious now. The bible says that it would appear to those waiting that Jesus was delaying his arrival – well, that apparent delay is what we’re experiencing now! I completely understand that bible verse now. It’s so hard to wait for all this to happen. I long for his return despite all the terror and horror those left on earth will experience, because at the end of those seven years, Jesus will permanently return to earth to take his throne and rule the world. All pain and evil and sadness will be no more. There will be no more death, no more suffering – of either humans or animals. It will finally be a perfect world of eternal peace and joy and happiness. That world is my home. That world is what I want, more than anything.
There is no such thing as an ‘afterlife’. There is only pre-life and life. Pre-life is what most people on this earth are currently experiencing (including the majority of those who call themselves Christians, but don’t actually believe the gospel). Most people will never actually know what life feels like. They will go from pre-life to death. Life only comes when you believe that Jesus is God who came to earth to die in our place, to pay the penalty for our sins, and then to rise again from the dead. The moment we believe that, we pass from pre-life into life, and then we will never die. Not ever. We will live in our human bodies until those bodies wear out or until Christ returns to rescue us from the world cataclysm to come, and then we will be given glorified perfect bodies. But death will never be able to touch us. I have no fear about missing out on things because “life is short” because that isn’t true. Once you are given life, it is eternal.

If you’re reading this and you don’t believe in God at all, then I’m sorry for what you’re about to experience. But when it happens, when you finally see God and know he’s real, I want you to remember this: He loves you. He created you because he wants to spend eternity with you and show you his love and his joy. He loved you enough to die for you, to go through horrific humiliation and pain for you. There is nothing he wouldn’t do for you. And it’s not too late for you. When you see the things I’m writing about start to happen, cry out to him and he will save you.
If you’re reading this and you think you are a Christian because you pray, or believe in a “higher power”, or take communion, or were baptized, or go to church, or your family is religious, or you just try really hard to be a ‘good person’ – you might be wrong. None of those things I listed make you a Christian. They just make a religious person, and Christianity is NOT a religion. It’s a relationship with Christ. Please watch the video below.
Happy New Year! I admire you for sharing your beliefs on your blog!! I believe in Christ, and also believe that the second coming is near. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We are also eagerly awaiting his return to earth. Blessings to you! PS I love the photo of you with the owl near the top of the page! I showed it to my husband (he is an avid birder) and he said that it is a Eurasian Eagle Owl. Beautiful!
